Youth Groups (HOPE, JOY, GOYA)

Holy Trinity has youth groups for children ranging from age 2 all the way through high school, which aim to promote the spiritual and social development of our youth, and to foster a spirit of Orthodox camaraderie.

Holy Orthodox Primary Education (HOPE)

HOPE is for children ages 2 years old to kindergarten. It brings together parents and children of the same age who share common interests and offers opportunities to build friendships that help us grow both spiritually and socially. The mission of HOPE is to strengthen the relationship of young Orthodox Christians. The program works to educate young members of Holy Trinity, encouraging them to become active sacramental participants in Church. HOPE provides an opportunity to come together for religious education and fellowship. HOPE meets on the first Wednesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. in the Arthur L. Sarris Community Center.

Junior Orthodox Youth (JOY)

Throughout the year, JOY children participate in a variety of activities that reinforce positive teachings and traditions of the Orthodox Church. Activities are structured to bring together our children in a spirit of love and admiration.

JOY is for children in 1st through 6th grade and meets on the first Wednesday of every month at 6:15 PM for Paraklesis in the chapel and at 7:00 PM in the Arthur L. Sarris Community Center for activities.

Greek Orthodox Youth of America (GOYA)

The Greek Orthodox Youth of America (GOYA) of Holy Trinity is an extension of the community’s hallmark Sunday school program and provides the cathedral’s youth opportunities to volunteer, engage in enterprising activities, make lifelong friendships and express their Faith.   GOYANs meet on the second and fourth Wednesday of every month at 6:15 p.m. for Paraklesis in the Chapel, followed by our activity for the evening at the Arthur L. Sarris Community Center.

GOYAns also have the opportunity to participate in a number of retreats throughout the year and to attend our Denver Metropolis's Camp Emmanuel, in Torreon, New Mexico, in the summer.
