St. John Chrysostom Oratorical Festival held on March 6th

What does Jesus's miracle of the five loaves and two fishes teach us about our ability to serve mankind? How can the arts inspire a greater connection between us and God? These were just two of the topics addressed by our Holy Trinity youth at our parish's St. John Chrysostom Oratorical Festival, which was held Sunday, March 6th. Participants included:

Junior Division:
Zoe Dolmas

Senior Division:
Anne-Marie Banoub
Marina Banoub
Lewis Dolmas
Demi Tomasides

First Place Winners were Demi Tomasides, Senior Division, and Zoe Dolmas, Junior Division. Demi and Zoe will represent our community at the Metropolis Oratorical Festival, which will be held April 8–10 at Sts. Peter & Paul Greek Orthodox Church in Boulder, Colorado.

The judges for this year's Oratorical Festival were Bonnie Kallis, Presvytera Mirela Tudora and Marlene Treavor.

Congratulations to the winners and thank you to all the participants, who provided those in attendance with an afternoon of inspiring and uplifting messages about the Orthodox faith.
