Our Adult Programs

We are excited to offer the following courses:

Saturday Classes

  • 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. — Modern Greek – Second Year - Classes resume Saturday, September 12th!
  • 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. — Koine Greek (Biblical) – Beginners & Second Year - Classes resume Saturday, September 5th!
  • 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. — Modern Greek – Beginners - Classes resume Saturday, September 12th!

Wednesday Classes

  • 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.— Modern Greek – Beginners (Online classes only) - Classes resume Wednesday, September 16th!
Program Details
  • Duration: 2 hours per week for 30 weeks. Classes run from September 2026 through May 2027.
  • Books: $55 (for Modern Greek) and $35 (for Koine Greek)

Course Descriptions

Modern Greek - Beginners

This course is designed for individuals who want to build practical communication skills in Modern Greek. Students practice real-life conversations while learning the alphabet, pronunciation, and essential grammar.

Modern Greek - Second Year

This course is designed for individuals who have completed a beginner-level Modern Greek course or have a basic knowledge of the language. Students build on their foundational skills by expanding their vocabulary, strengthening their grammar, and developing greater confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing through practical, real-life communication.

Koine Greek - Beginners

This course is designed for individuals who wish to learn the language of the New Testament, the Septuagint, and the early Church fathers. Beginning with the Greek alphabet and core grammar, students gradually acquire the tools to read and understand Koine Greek (Biblical).

Koine Greek - Second Year

This course is intended for students who have completed a beginner-level Koine Greek course or have an equivalent foundation in the language. Students continue developing their reading proficiency through more advanced grammar, vocabulary, and guided readings from the New Testament and other early Christian texts.
